Jesus prayed for us, did you know that? Jesus prays very specifically for us that we would know God and have unity with each other. Lastly he prayed that our faith together would help the world know God. We pray to a God that loves us, that is for us, and listens to us. God is loving all the time and knowing how great God's love is gives us motivation to pray.
