The bible is full of scandal. But the point of the scandal is not gossip. The purpose of the scandal is to show us how great Gods grace is and the Gods wants to be with us even when things go bad. Even when the worst happens and we epically fail, God wants to be there. God is there in the middle of all our sin, all our mistakes and regrets calling us into a life of acceptance, grace, and limitless love.
