christmas SPIRIT (pt 1): Father, Son, and Holy 'Who'?

When Jesus was getting ready to leave he made sure we knew what was coming next. Jesus left knowing that HIS Spirit was coming and through the Holy Spirit we would find comfort, that we would find joy. Jesus wanted us to know and experience the fullness of HIS love, and he knew that this goal would be most fully accomplished through HIS Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the third person in the Trinity, is not an it but a person. The Spirit is fully God and completely relatable. The Holy Spirit is for us, in believers, and God's gift for us. We don't earn it but it is given for us on our behalf.
