There are a lot of great ministries to participate in St. Johns County. But at TCC we don't want to just serve for a moment, we want to build relationships and provide continual lasting support as we reflect Christ in this world.
We want to feel what God feels, we want to care for the same things God cares about. Isaiah 1:17 describes this - "Seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause."
With many families at TCC already Fostering and Adopting - we decided that this is where we wanted to invest in St. Johns County.
Through our partnership with Fostering Hope, we will be mobilizing in a new way to care for, not just the families at TCC that foster and adopt, but to care for those in our area that are doing the same! We will be serving local children and families in crises using CarePortal, an online platform that allows church Responders to receve and meet needs of struggling families. Care Portal is the online database that will help facilitate this; you can sign up to be a Responder below.
